Lankford Avenue “Building Healthy Relationships” The Lankford Avenue Non-violence Program provides comprehensive preventative and intervention services to perpetrators of domestic violence. The program is based on an adaptation of the Duluth Model, developed from the Duluth Domestic Violence Project. The program’s objective is to rehabilitate batterers by way of providing a cognitive-behavior and psycho-educational therapy approach. The program consists of a 24-week group therapy model for perpetrators of domestic violence. Our Non-violence Program follows the state of Texas guidelines for Battering Intervention and Prevention Project (BIPP) as printed and published by Texas Department of Criminal Justice Community Justice Assistance Division and Texas Council on Family Violence.
